Wooden Driveway Gates Installed in Burton: Martin Chambers, Ashdale Fencing.
We recently installed some impressive wooden driveway gates at a bungalow in Burton on Trent. The homeowner wanted to replace the old gates which had become damaged and rotten. These strong gates are ‘Tongue and Groove’ and were supplied by ‘Cannock Gates’.

As you can see, these driveway gates are nice and robust, but not out of keeping with the existing new fence panels. The homeowner plans to replace the older fence panels soon. The gates are held in place with 7×7 tanalised gate posts.
Driveway Gates for Privacy and Security
A major benefit of having gates installed on your driveway is that it allows you to maintain a level of privacy that is lost when your garden is open to the curb. in addition, these gates add a layer of security to your property because they can be locked at night, making any burglary or attempted car theft a bit more difficult.

A Choice of Fittings For Gates
We always try to add fixtures that will best suit our gates, and in this instance, the black and chrome effect fixtures were to our client’s taste. They are clean and modern in style and made from stainless steel so they won’t rust. As well as the latch and bolt there is also a top hasp holding the two gates together for added security.
